Health – Children and Families
Community Connected is running a special session for family health on 16th October as part of our GetOnline week celebrations. It's open to everyone – even if you have never been online in your life before.
Using the amazing NHS choices website – we will take you on a tour of family health from A to Z starting at the beginning with pregnancy and what to do after the birth of that new baby.
We’ll look at the online tools from the NHS Choices website that will help you with on your journey - symptom checkers for childhood illnesses, a useful interactive timeline from birth to 5 years old – with information what your child should be doing, you what should be doing in terms of vaccinations and registrations. And then some unusual ones like the childhood allergy myth buster.
We’ll help you browse the NHS Choices library of over 1,000 videos. We’ll show you where to find the very latest news and research from the NHS on all aspects of pregnancy and children’s development that will fascinate you.
And finally we’ll help you search and find the service in Kingston that are going to help your family stay well and happy.
